Uzbekistan’s government responds: It’s a conspiracy! And besides, we love children.

After the BBC’s Newsnight documentary aired, clearly showing kids 10 and younger out picking cotton at their school’s behest, Uzbekistan’s UK embassy had to fire back somehow.  (If you haven’t seen it, view the October 2007 piece here:
